Jess Manier.

Jess Manier, MPA

Camp Director

Jess was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula.  She attended St. Norbert College earning a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and then went on to pursue her Master’s degree in Public Administration:  Nonprofit Management and Leadership.  She has worked with the disability community for over 20 years.

Jess was introduced to Bay Cliff as a Shady Nook camper in 1988.  She then went on to be a Unit I camper.  In college she worked for five summers at camp as a Counselor, Unit Leader and Teen Coordinator.  At the age of 19, she knew that working at Bay Cliff full time was a dream she wanted to pursue.  Bay Cliff is a place where dreams really do come true and she is excited to be sharing her talents, skills, and passion for working with people with disabilities back at the place where her independence journey began, coming full circle as the Camp Director.
