Children’s Summer Therapy Camp
Our Children’s Summer Therapy Camp Staff are employed from June 11-August 6, 2023 (other than leadership staff, who arrive June 7) This includes a week of orientation prior to the campers’ arrival

Camp Staff
Counselor
- Guide campers in all aspects of camp activities.
- Encourage and motivate children to work towards their goals.
Lifeguard
- Ensure the safety of the children and staff while on, in or near the water for swimming and boating.
- Implement and develop fun, engaging, and accessible lessons that instruct campers in water safety and skill development.
- Will reimburse for certifications.
Arts and Crafts Instructor
- Implement and develop fun and accessible arts and crafts lessons that engage campers in hands-on learning activities and diverse skill development.
Nature Instructor
- Implement and develop fun and accessible nature lessons that engage campers in hands-on learning and skill development.
Performing Arts Instructor
- Implement and develop fun and accessible performing arts lessons that engage campers in hands-on learning activities and skill development.
Recreation Instructor
- Implement and develop fun and accessible physical education lessons that engage campers in hands-on learning and skill development.
Leadership
Program Coordinator
- Organize and oversee the total camp programming.
- Take lead role in staff training.
Teen Coordinator
- Provide a fun, applicable, and comprehensive program for teens.
- Assist Camp Director in coordinating meaningful, relevant experiences for campers who are preparing for adulthood.
Unit Leader
- Lead one of Bay Cliff’s five distinct housing units, setting standards and providing supervision for all staff and children in the unit.
- Work closely with therapists and activity staff to maximize the development of camper potential in all areas.



Support Staff
Dining Room Supervisor
- Supervise the dining room (hopper) staff, ensuring a clean, safe, and friendly work environment.
- Ensure meals are served in a timely and friendly manner.
Dish Room
- Ensure dishes are clean for use during meal times.
Kitchen Staff
- Ensure meals are provided on time during camp meals.
- Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen.
Assistant Cook job description
Dining Room Aide (Hopper)
- Serve campers and staff during meals.
- Assist in meal clean up and set up.
Laundry/Linen and Housekeeping
- Implement and oversee daily maintenance and operations of L&L
- Ensure L&L facility is “visitor ready” at all times during the day.
- Cleaning in commonly used camp buildings on a daily basis.
Maintenance
- Ensure facilities operate effectively.
- Maintain campus grounds.
- Repair anything that might break during the summer.
Secretary
- Provide welcoming environment while performing variety of office duties such as correspondence, documentation, filing, as well as handling incoming and outgoing mail.



Professional Staff
This includes licensed Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Music Therapists, and Nurses.
